Police in Moose Jaw have arrested one person in connection to a home invasion on the 1200 block of 9th Avenue Northeast that took place on Sunday.

Multiple people allegedly broke into the home, assaulted residents and stole numerous items including electronics, and tools before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Several victims sustains minor injuries, with one requiring hospital treatment.

Police, along with Moose Jaw RCMP, found a suspect in Caron on Tuesday, but are still searching for another suspect in the matter.

Kjersten Melnychuk faces five charges, including break and enter to commit robbery and uttering death threats. Police are still searching for Teleni Raymond for break and enter, as well as uttering death threats charges.

The suspects and victims are known to each other.

Moose Jaw Police are still investigating.
