Sask. Party ‘transparency’ reveals six impaired driving convictions among election candidates

In what the Saskatchewan Party is calling “in the interest of transparency,” four current MLAs and two new candidates have had impaired driving convictions in the past.

The four current MLAs, who have had their impaired driving offences previously disclosed publicly, are Premier Scott Moe, Don McMorris, Eric Olauson and Terry Dennis.

The Saskatchewan Party’s candidate disclosure process includes a criminal record check and with the provincial election coming up October 26, the two candidates found to have had an impaired driving offence are Manny Sadhra and Terry Jensen.

Sadhra is running in Saskatoon-Fairview while Jensen is running in Martensville-Warman.
