17 more COVID-19 cases with 19 additional recoveries on holiday Monday

The provincial government announced 17 more cases of COVID-19 on Saskatchewan Day Monday.

Of those 17 cases, nine of them so far have been determined to be from Hutterite from colonies across Saskatchewan.

Six of the new cases come from the south, while five were found in the central, four people in the north tested positive and two cases were found in the Regina region.

As well, one person not from Saskatchewan tested positive in the province.

19 more people have recovered from COVID-19. The active case count has decreased to 252.

15 people are currently in hospital. Nine people are in inpatient care (five in Saskatoon, three in the south and one in Regina), while six people are in ICU (four in Saskatoon and two in Regina).
