A 23 year-old man has died after an impaired driving incident on Highway #8 near the Keeseekoose First Nation north of Kamsack early Thursday morning.
RCMP and Duck Mountain ambulance attended the scene just before 3:30 AM and located the deceased man at the scene. His name is not being released but he is from the Kamsack/Cote First Nation area and his family has been notified.
The driver of the SUV, 29 year-old Lewis Strongquill, faces two impaired driving charges, including impaired operation of a vehicle causing death.
Strongquill will appear in court in October.
