24 new cases of COVID-19 are being reported by the province on Saturday with 11 of those 24 coming from Regina.
It is believed a majority of the 11 are from K-Bro Linens. On Friday, the government had said a number of employees at the business had tested positive for the virus. Another eight cases are from hutterite colonies. In total, the new cases are:
- Regina (11)
- South Central (5)
- Saskatoon (3)
- North Central (3)
- South West (1)
Another case is currently pending residence information.
A total of 168 cases remain active. Another 24 people have recovered putting the provincial total at 1.245.
Thirteen people remain hospitalized with eight of the thirteen in inpatient care Five are in intensive care with four of those five in Saskatoon.
1,655 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan on Friday meaning there have now been 109,803 tests conducted since testing started.
