Man charged in connection to series of break and enters

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to two break and enter incidents in the Al Ritchie neighbourhood on July 30th.

That night, around 8:32 pm, Regina Police responded to a report of a break and enter on the 2000 block of Atkinson Street. Early information indicated a suspicious black Toyota SUV pulled into a garage on that block, loaded up with various items, and then left.

Police found the vehicle a short distance away confirmed it to have been stolen from Weyburn. The next day, police received a report of a break and enter in a garage on the 2200 block of Wallace Street. The break in happened at approximately 3:51 am on the 30th. During the second incident, a black SUV drove past the garage, a male entered the open overhead door and took items including a motorcycle helmet and cash.

21-year-old Tyler Eric Goforth has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, 2 counts of break and enter, and breach of probation.

Goforth made his first appearance in court on Friday
