The Co-Op Refinery Complex had a fire to deal with Monday morning.

A statement from Federated Co-Op says the fire, in section 1,  was contained and extinguished quickly with all personnel safe and accounted for.

The statement adds the incident did not pose a threat to the community or surrounding neighbourhoods and businesses with an investigation underway to determine what happened.
