When the school bell rings in a couple of weeks to get classes going in Regina elementary and high schools, students in Grades 4-12 will be wearing masks.
Just hours after the provincial government issued new guidelines, both the Regina Public School Division and Catholic School Division announced masks will be mandatory for kids in those grades when physical distancing can’t be accomplished. The Public School Division is also recommending students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 also wear non-medical masks. The Catholic School Division would also like to see that, but is leaving that decision in the hands of families.
