One man is dead after an accident Wednesday afternoon in north-central Regina.

Police say just after one o’clock, they were called to the alley behind Elizabeth Crescent where a vehicle hit a man.

Police are working on confirming the identity of the man and notifying his next-of-kin.

The driver of the vehicle has been spoken to by Regina Police, but he is not in custody at this time.

The area around the scene will be closed off until further notice as investigators look for evidence and possible witnesses.
