UPDATE:
A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car Friday morning.
At around 9:00 a.m., Regina Police and EMS responded to the collision on Quinn Drive and Broad Street. The woman was crossing from the east side of Broad Street towards the west side.
Although it has not been confirmed, it is believed that a vehicle travelling northbound on Broad Street hit the woman.
The victim remains in hospital and police are continuing their investigation.
Regina Police had a portion of Broad Street closed on Friday after the collision.
