There is one new case of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan on August 18, bringing the reported total to 1,582 total cases. The new case is located in the Saskatoon zone.
Of the 1,582 reported cases, 157 are considered active. There are also 16 new recoveries for a total of 1,403 recoveries in the province.
Eight people are in hospital. Four are receiving inpatient care with two in the South West, one in Saskatoon and one in Regina. Four people are in intensive care with all patients in Saskatoon.
Investigations completed thus far have found that 107 of 157 active cases are in communal living settings.
The government noted that 931 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan on Monday.
