Fourth suspect arrested in Regina attempted murder case; one suspect still wanted

The fourth suspect wanted in connection to an attempted murder earlier this month, has been arrested.

On Monday, August 3rd around 9:48 am, Regina Police responded to the 3400 block of Dewdney Avenue for a report of a weapons offence.

Upon arrival, police found a 24-year-old man who appeared to be the victim of a shooting. He was transported to hospital.

Ongoing investigation led police to obtain a search warrant for a residence on the 1400 block of Elphinstone Street, where several items were seized including firearms and ammo.

Three men aged 33, 27, and 20 have already been charged with attempted murder, an 18-year-old man is facing weapons and drug charges, and the 24-year-old victim has also been charged.

On August 22, RPS arrested 28-year-old Jessie Vaughan Gambler, who has been charged with attempted murder, as well as several firearms charges.

A Saskatchewan-wide warrant remains in effect for 24-year-old Brendon Curtis Keewatin, who faces attempted murder charges as well as numerous firearm charges.

Keewatin is described as male, Indigenous, about 6’2, thin build, weighing about 180 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
