RCMP have blocked Highway 41 by Wakaw in both directions following a serious multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say they received a call of a collision involving four vehicle and a semi-truck on a construction site at about 1:00 p.m. The accident occured on Highway 41, approximately five miles east of Wakaw.

RCMP, along with EMS and local fire departments, are at the scene.

Traffic is currently being re-routed for what police say will be an undetermined amount of time. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes at this time.
