Sask. records 23rd death from COVID-19

The province is reporting an additional death and no new cases from COVID-19 on Tuesday.

The death is from the Central West zone and was a resident in the 70 to 79 age category. This is Saskatchewan’s 23rd death related to COVID-19.

The government added that an out-of-province resident has been removed from the total reported count which now stands at 1,601 cases.

88 cases are considered active with 57 from communal living settings.

Eight more people have recovered as of Tuesday for a total recovery count of 1,490 people.

There are four people in hospital with three receiving intensive care in Saskatoon.
