A disciplinary hearing for an ex-Moose Jaw police officer has been adjourned for another week.
Alan Murdock was fired in June of 2019 due to misconduct allegations during his 30 years on the force. Murdock is appealing his dismissal.
If Murdock is able to hire a lawyer, they have until September 3rd or 4th to apply for another adjournment.
While Murdock argued the amount of material to go through with this case didn’t allow him to properly prepare for his case, counsel for Moose Jaw Police argued Murdock was given ample time to study the documents, and also dismissed claims that material was withheld until 11 days before the hearing.
