Eight-year-old suffers non life-threatening injuries after being hit by car in southeast Regina

Regina Police say an 8-year-old child suffered non life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Monday night while attempting to cross the street.

Just before 8:00 p.m. officers were called to the 2600 block of Truesdale Drive in the city’s southeast.

Traffic Services and Forensic Identification processed the accident scene. Investigation indicates that the child was attempting to cross the road when they were struck by an eastbound vehicle.

Police say no charges have been laid at this time.

The child has been released from hospital.
