Regina police searching for missing mother and daughter

Regina police need your help in locating a 35 year-old womanand her 6 year-old daughter.

Sharla Nicole Burns  and her daughter Amarina  haven’t been seen by family since July 31 at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the 4000 block of 4th Avenue in the city’s north-central end between Pasqua and Queen Street.

While police say there is no evidence that suggests both have come to harm, they would like to physically locate them to ensure their safety.

6 year-old Amarina Burns is described as approximately 4’0”, 50 lbs with a thin build. She is said to have long, straight, blonde hair and blue eyes.

Thirty-five year-old Sharla Burns  is described as approximately 5’6”, 180 lbs with a medium build. She is said to have long, straight, brown hair and brown eyes. Noticeable markings include a tattoo on the back of her neck that says “AMARINA”, a tattoo of red lips on her left shoulder and a tattoo of the word “ETERNAL” on her left forearm.
