Police locate canoes stolen from Regina Public School Board

Regina Police have located three of the four canoes stolen from a Regina Public School Board lot.

The canoes were stolen some time between July 1st and August 16th from the 2200 block of Pasqua Street.

On Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at a property on the 100 block of Smith Street. Police were able to locate three of the aluminum canoes and arrested a suspect in connection to the theft.

44 year-old Dion Gale faces two charges, including break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime over five thousand dollars.

Gale is set to appear in court on October 20th.
