Federal agriculture minister Marie-Claude Bibeau says work is underway to improve farm business risk programs.

Bibeau says she will be discussing proposals with her provincial counterparts this fall.

She says officials have been busy this summer working on several proposals but would not elaborate.

Farm groups have pushed for improvements to programs like Agristability.

Bibeau meets with her provincial counterparts October 14th to 16th in Guelph, Ontario.
