Regina Police looking for suspects in Friday night weapons incident

On Friday night around 8:30 pm, Regina Police responded to a weapons calls on the 2700 block of 5th Ave.

Police received information that a grey Dodge Caravan was driving in the area while one of the occupants was shooting a firearm out the window. Officers later found the van unoccupied.

Two firearms were found inside the vehicle.

Suspect #1, the driver, is described as an Indigenous man in his late 20’s, wearing a black hat and black bandanna over his face.

There was a second man as well as a female passenger inside the vehicle. There is no evidence to suggest that anyone was injured as a result of the incident however, police say it poses a significant risk to public safety.
