Swift Current RCMP finds woman who went missing after car accident

UPDATE:  Lewans was found safe and sound by a motorist about 3 km southwest of the collision site around 12:30 Sunday afternoon.  She suffered injuries not considered life-threatening and was taken to hospital.




Swift Current RCMP is asking for assistance in helping locate 41-year-old Rebecca Lewans from Shaunavon.

Lewans has been missing since being involved in a single-vehicle collision around 8:20 Saturday night, approximately 7 miles west of Cabri. Police believe she might be confused and are concerned for her well-being.

Lewans is described as a white woman with a medium build, she is approximately 5’8, 140 lbs. She has green eyes and blonde hair. Police believe she is not wearing shoes or a jacket.
