Several Regina agencies to get money to help keep vulnerable residents safe through COVID-19

Some help is coming for community agencies that have been assisting Regina’s most vulnerable residents through COVID-19.

The city says it is getting $117,000 as part of a $10 million donation from the CMA Foundation, in collaboration with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.  The money will go to help those who are experiencing homelessness, food insecurity and mental health challenges.

The money will be distributed to community organizations to help with personal protective equipment for staff and vulnerable individuals, personal hygiene products and specialized cleaning and sanitizing products. It will ensure that agencies in need have what they need to serve Regina residents in need safely.
