After becoming mayor four years ago, Marcel Roy is hoping voters in Weyburn give him a second term.
Roy has announced he is seeking re-election in the November 9th civic election
He says it has been an honour representing Weyburn over the past four years as he helps lead the city on a path of progress, but there is still more work to be done thus he is hoping to carry on with that work by being re-elected.
In 2016, he won the mayoral contest taking 57 percent of the vote ending a decade-long run by Debra Button.
At this time, Roy will be challenged by one other person. That person is Nick Coroluick.
