Three of six new COVID-19 cases in SK are in Regina; 19 more recoveries

The amount of COVID-19 cases in Regina continues to rise.

At the beginning of September, Regina had just one active case, but three of six new cases being announced by the province on Wednesday are in Regina putting the number at active cases at 26.

Two of the other three cases come from Saskatoon with the other being in the west-central zone.

19 people have recovered meaning a total of 1,673 in Saskatchewan have done so since numbers started being released in March.

Nine people are in hospital.  Eight of those are in Saskatoon with one of those eight in intensive care.

1,507 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan on Tuesday putting the provincial total at 176,912.
