Regina man facing charges in connection to two incidents over the weekend

A Regina man faces several charges after a couple of incidents over the weekend.

On Friday night at about 10:40 PM, police were called to the 300 block of Albert Street, where two men got into an altercation. The suspect allegedly sprayed the victim with bear spray. Both men fled the scene, with the suspect crashing his vehicle into an adjacent building before fleeing the scene on foot. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of bear spray, ammunition, and a quantity of drugs.

Then on Sunday, police observed a vehicle with a licence plate that did not match the registered plate of the vehicle. After an attempted traffic stop on Queen Street, police were able to locate the vehicle on the 1000 block of Angus Street, and arrest the suspect.

20 year-old Dana Wallace faces six charges:

· Carrying Concealed Weapon

· Possession of A Weapon

· Failure To Stop After Accident

· Possession of A Firearm Or Ammunition Contrary To Prohibition Order

· Possession of A Scheduled Substance

· Flight From Peace Officer

Wallace appeared in court Monday morning.
