Regina Police arrest three men in connection to Athol Street attempted murder

Three Regina men have been charged in connection to an attempted murder that took place early Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Athol Street where a 28 year-old man had sustained an apparent gun shot wound. The victim remains in hospital treating serious injuries.

Police were able to find a duffel bag with evidence inside, including a sawed-off shotgun.

Police have arrested 29 year-old Guy Favel and 25 year-old Jeremy Favel have both been charged with attempted murder.

Jeremy Favel is also charged with the following:

– Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order

– Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order

– Breach of Probation.

23 year-old Lance Favel also faces charges in connection to this incident. They include:

– Careless Storage of Firearm

– Possession of a Weapon for a Purpose Dangerous to Public Peace

– Carrying a Concealed Weapon

– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

– Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm

– Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device in a Motor Vehicle

– Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Serial Number has been Tampered With

All three suspects appeared in court Wednesday morning.
