Fourth man charged in Tuesday night’s Athol Street attempted murder

A fourth person has been charged in the attempted murder of a 28 year-old man on the 1100 block of Athol Street on Tuesday morning.

Police attended the scene just after midnight where a man had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. At last report the victim was still in hospital with serious injuries.

Police in Regina were able to arrest and charge three suspects on Tuesday night, but RCMP in Broadview were able to locate a fourth suspect on Wednesday night.

24 year-old Faizon Alexson faces four charges:

– Attempted Murder Using a Firearm

– Use of a Firearm in the Commission of an Indictable Offence

– Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order

– Breach of Probation

Alexson appears in court Friday morning.
