A 20-year old man faces charges after a hit-and-run Friday

Police were called to 9th Avenue North and McCarthy Boulevard in the northwest end around 9:45 p.m after a report of the hit-and-run.

Minutes before, a vehicle with the same description as the one involved in the hit-and-run, had been reported driving erratically in a nearby parking lot.

That vehicle was found with a man inside. He was arrested without incident.

Jaxson Nelson appears in court next month.

The pedestrian that was hit was not hurt.
