Those wanting to “swing the sticks” at a City-owned golf course have a few more days to do so.
The city says the Lakeview Par 3 course will close at the end of the day on Monday with the Joanne Goulet closing Monday, October 19. The East 9 of the Tor Hill will also close on that day with all other courses closing October 26.
After a delayed May 15 season opening due to the COVID-19 pandemic, overall golf bookings in Regina were up in 2020 by 16 per cent as compared to 2019. Total rounds played as of October 1, 2020 was 110,663 compared to 95,332 in 2019.
