A Vibank man has died after an accident between an ATV and a car on Highway 48 west of Vibank on Saturday.

Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP were called to the scene at about 8:15 that evening, with Vibank Fire and EMS also attending the scene.

The collision occurred as the ATV was travelling on the highway. A 24 year-old man riding the ATV was declared deceased at the scene, while a woman driving the car and a child passenger were assessed by EMS but have since been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
