Pats acquire Saskatoon-born D Tom Cadieux from Tri-City

The Regina Pats have made a trade with the Tri-City Americans that sees a Saskatchewan product return home.

18-year-old Tom Cadieux from Saskatoon comes to Regina with the Pats sending  a third-round pick in the 2023 WHL bantam draft and a conditional seventh-rounder in 2023 in return.

Cadieux, who was the Americans 2nd round pick in the 2017 WHL bantam draft, had one goal and five assists in 37 games last season. In 96 career WHL games, he has 11 points.

Before playing in Tri-City, Cadieux played for the Saskatoon Blazers in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League where he had 16 points in 29 games.
