Snowfall warning issued for southwest Sask. communities

It is going to be a day to stay home in the southwest corner of the province Wednesday.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Shaunavon, Maple Creek and Cypress Hills area with the forecast calling for 10 to 20 centimeters of snow to come down as advancing cold air from the north will combine with an upper disturbance to produce snow.

It is expected visibility will be reduced because of the heavy snow which will taper off in the evening.
