SHA restricts visitation rights in Saskatoon facilities to compassionate reasons only with COVID-19 spike throughout city

With the Saskatoon region home to more than 100 of the province’s 427 active cases of COVID-19, the decision has been made to restrict visitation rights at all SHA facilities and affiliates to compassionate reasons only in Saskatoon.

The province says those restrictions begin Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. and will be reassessed on November 3rd.

The Saskatoon region currently has 101 active cases of the coronavirus.

The SHA is urging Saskatchewan residents to follow public health measures and personal safety precautions to prevent the spread of the virus, including maintaining a physical distance of two metres from others and masking when that’s not possible, frequent hand hygiene and self-isolating if you develop any symptoms of COVID-19.
