The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a man in Estevan with child pornography charges in connection to an investigation that started in August of this year.

Numerous complaints were made about the accused person’s internet activities, which allegedly include making child porn available through several different social media platforms.

On Wednesday, The Saskatchewan ICU Unit and Estevan Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Estevan.

A mobile phone and a computer device were both seized.

As a result, 30 year-old Kyle Fiddler of Estevan faces three charges:

• Possession of Child Pornography.
• Transmits Child Pornography .
• Failing to comply with an Order of Prohibition.

The accused will make a court appearance Oct. 27 in Weyburn.
