Regina Police looking for suspect after robbery on Broadway Ave. East Wednesday night

Regina Police are looking for a suspect after a robbery at a business on the 200 block of Broadway Avenue East Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the scene shortly after 9:00 p.m. where a lone male suspect walked into the business carrying a knife and walked over to the counter, where he removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.

The suspect then grabbed some scratch and win tickets from the counter before exiting the business. He’s described by Regina Police as Indigenous, around six feet tall and was wearing a navy blue ski mask, black jacket, with a red hoodie underneath, black gloves, white and black runners, black jeans and carrying a lavender purse.

The knife was described as a large black handled kitchen knife.

Police say no one was injured in the incident.
