Thom Collegiate still open despite COVID-19 case

Regina Public Schools say they were alerted Sunday by the Saskatchewan Health Authority to a case of COVID-19 being diagnosed in a student at Thom Collegiate.

For safety reasons, those deemed to be in close contact with the student from the affected class are self-isolating.   Those students will get their learning done remotely until further guidance is received from the SHA. The school remains open for all other students.

If there are any additional close contacts at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.
