Regina woman charged after early morning stabbing

A Regina woman is facing an attempted murder charge in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred early Wednesday morning.

At approximately 4:11 AM, Regina Police were dispatched to hospital for a report of a man who had come in with apparent stab wounds, requiring immediate medical attention. Police were able to determine the incident had taken place at a home on the 1400 block of Robinson Street.

Several people were inside the house at the time. Investigation led to the identification of the suspect. Through investigation, police also learned that the suspect and the victim were in a relationship together,

The 21-year-old suspect, whose name is not being released, has been charged with attempted murder, breach of probation, breach of condition of release order, and possession of a scheduled substance.

The woman will make her first appearance in court Thursday morning.
