Canadian Red Cross names Luc Mullinder as its Saskatchewan vice-president

Someone who is no stranger to 620 CKRM is now the Canadian Red Cross’ vice-president for Saskatchewan.

After spending several years with the organization in a variety of capacities, Luc Mullinder is taking over the role.

Mullinder says his day doesn’t really change with this promotion as his plate will still be full.

“My role now is to be in the community even more.” Mullinder said. “I’ve gone from running the Imagine No Bullying campaign to leading our fundraising teams, but now I oversee everything we do in Saskatchewan so I will be busy strengthening relationships that we already have and continuing all the great initiatives that we have with our partners.”

Since joining the Red Cross,  they have had great success in attracting support for its work from various sectors in Saskatchewan, including from corporations, foundations and individual contributors. His philanthropy team has accomplished several successful events and campaigns – including the annual Red Gala and Power of Humanity events – raising funds for disaster response, violence prevention and other Red Cross programs in Saskatchewan.

Long time 620 CKRM listeners recognize Mullinder for his work on the Sportscage and Saskatchewan Roughrider broadcasts which he will continue to do.  He has been with us as a contributor to the Sportscage since 2013 before assuming the role of game analyst at the start of the 2017 season.
