The Regina Police Service is asking for information that may assist in identifying suspects involved in two firearm incidents.
On Saturday around 4:39 pm, RPS responded to a report of a weapons offence on the 1200 block of Angus Street.
Early information suggests a female walked up to an address on the block and was speaking with a resident at the back door when someone shot out the front window of the home. The female that was at the back door, then ran to the front of the address and boarded a vehicle parked on the street.
There were three men inside the vehicle. The vehicle then sped off southbound on Angus St. Suspect #1 , the female is described as Indigenous, with red/brownish hair, wearing a grey coat, black pants, and white shoes. There was no description of the three men.
The suspect vehicle is described only as a grey four door car.
Later Saturday, at around 7:58 pm, RPS responded to the 700 block of Dewdney Avenue East in regard to a second weapons offence involving a firearm.
In this instance, the victims were driving northbound on Park Street, when a vehicle cut them off and pulled over to the parking lane. As the victims passed the suspect vehicle, the driver pointed a firearm out the window and shot at the victim’s car.
Suspect #1, the driver, is described as an Indigenous male, wearing a dark toque and dark clothing with a surgical mask over his face. There were two other men inside the vehicle, only described as wearing surgical masks.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver car, possibly a Chevrolet Cruze with black winter rims.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in either incident. The investigation is ongoing.
