Individual COVID-19 cases found at three Regina Public schools

The Regina Public Schools has announced individual COVID-19 cases at Campbell Collegiate, Walker School and The Crescents School.

Regina Public shared in a statement on Tuesday that the new cases will not result in closures or cancelled classes at this time.

“All school families have been contacted with information and instructions related to self-isolation, if they are considered a close-contact, or self-monitoring, if they are not close-contacts,” reads the statement from Regina Public.

The school division is also providing an updated on the school closure announced on November 9 for Lakeview School. Classes will resume for students on November 23 with remote learning beginning on Friday the 13 for students at that school.

The school division is reminding students entering schools to monitor for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 and to refer to the Daily Self-Assessment Checklist which needs to be completed before attending school each day.
