Regina’s Walker School remains open after positive COVID-19 case

A positive case of COVID-19 has been identified in an individual at Walker Elementary School in Regina. No details have been given at this time on whether it’s a student or staff member.

In a release on Monday afternoon, Regina Public Schools said close contacts were telephoned by school staff and affected families were given information and direction on how long they should self-isolate.

The affected class has been closed until Friday, November 20 with a return date set for Monday, November 23.

The school remains open at this time.
