The Grain Growers of Canada organization is targeting legislators and policymakers in a short video highlighting the challenges facing Canadian farmers.

Grain Growers executive director Erin Gowriluk says the short film is designed to educate policy makers about the business of a modern grain farm.

She says the 20 minute video highlights three key areas, innovation, sustainability and international trade.

She says agriculture can be a key factor in the economic recovery from COVID-19.

Gowriluk says the film features eight farmers spanning Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the east coast.

Two of the farmers are from Saskatchewan.
