Regina’s Agribition seeks 50 most influential people in Canadian agriculture

Canadian Western Agribition in Regina has launched a search for the 50 most influential people in Canadian agriculture.

The public campaign is part of Agribition’s digital program launched after the annual livestock show was cancelled this month due to the coronavirus.

The 5 categories are titled upstarts, mentors, innovators, deal makers and designated hitters like keynote speakers.

Agribition CEO Chris Lane says nominations are open until the end of the year.

He says the top 50 finalists will be unveiled on “Canada’s Ag Day,” February 23rd, 2021.
