With the hopes of springing the local economy, Moose Jaw has launched an online shopping portal that features Moose Jaw businesses.

Craig Hemingway with the city says it’s a way to help out local businesses and provide an easy shopping experience for citizens.

“They can sign up for free, then they can put all of their merchandise, as much merchandise as they want on the marketplace,” said Hemingway. “Then as a user, you can go on and shop as many different businesses on the marketplace as you want, you ca put everything you want to buy into one cart, and pay with one transaction.”

Over 50 Moose Jaw businesses have signed up for the service and Hemingway says any business not yet on the marketplace can join since there is no limit.
