Update – Regina Police say they are currently conducting an operation on the 1600 block of Rae Street.

Officers are asking that all residents in and around the 1600 block of Rae Street remain in their homes.

A news release says officers received a call shortly after 2:00 a.m. Monday morning after a man was reportedly seen entering a residence with a firearm.

SWAT, canine and negotiation units have finished their portion of the investigation. Regina Police have advised the public may resume their daily normal activities in the area.
