A man is dead after a four-vehicle collision last night on Highway 7 between Delisle and Laura, southwest of Saskatoon.

Warman RCMP along with Delisle firefighters and Saskatoon EMS responded to the accident at around 7:20 pm. A RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene, too.

One man was declared dead at the scene, while a second man was transported to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon by STARS with reported serious injuries. No other injuries have been reported.

Police say road conditions were icy at the time of the collision; the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure attended before the highway was reopened to sand sections of the highway due to road icy conditions.

Highway 7 has since reopened.
