Henry Braun School celebrates namesake’s 90th birthday

Earlier this week, the staff and students at Henry Braun School celebrated their namesake’s 90th birthday.

Principal Rhonda Haus says Braun is known for his impact on teaching in Regina.

“He started his career in 1965 in Regina Public, and he retired in 1983, and in 1986 they named the school after him,” said Haus. “But what seems to be the most prevalent thing is his kindness, and caring that he has had for staff and students.”

The school was able to have a Zoom celebration including Mr. Braun on Thursday. Haus says Braun was very appreciative, smiling for thirty minutes straight during the Zoom call.
