Two people, including a four-year-old boy, are dead after a head-on crash just west of Prince Albert on Highway 3 Monday afternoon.
RCMP say around 5:30 p.m, an eastbound car collided head-on with a westbound truck after the car pulled into the westbound lane. That car contained the boy and a 30-year-old man from Prince Albert. Road conditions at the time were said to be icy.
The occupants of the truck were a 34-year-old woman and a three-year-old girl, both from the Shellbrook area. They were both taken to hospital with injuries said to be non-life threatening.
Alcohol is not being considered as a factor in the crash. An investigation into what exactly happened continues.
