The Riders have a hole to fill on their offensive line.

Dakoda Shepley has signed a reserve/future contract with the San Francisco 49ers.   He opted out of his contract in August and was subsequently released so he could pursue an NFL opportunity.

The Riders retain his rights through the 2022 season if he should return.

In 2019, Shepley appeared in all 18 regular season games and the Western Final.

He was taken with the 5th overall pick in the 2018 CFL draft after a stellar career at UBC.
