The Rural Municipalities Association in Saskatchewan has released a statement criticizing political figures for travelling outside Canada during the coronavirus outbreak.

SARM president Ray Orb calls such actions as irresponsible and reckless and reduces public trust in political leaders.

Orb confirms that SARM’s entire executive and board of directors have not travelled outside Canada during the pandemic.

He encourages everybody to follow public health measures.
